Dunhill Islands Trophy
Today 15th May 20 Ladies Turned out for the Dunhill Islands Trophy competition, a singles stableford with full Handicap allowance, what seemed a perfect day for golf turned out to be just that for the winner Chris Sherriff who returned a score of 35 stableford points taking home the Dunhill Islands Trophy.
The runner up was Lady Captain Pam Clare with a score of 33 points and in third place Jacquie Short with 32 points. There were 2 twos recorded Anne Wallhead on the 5th Hole and Jane Marriott on the 14th hole.

Wednesday 1st May 10 Lady past Captains entered the Past Captains' Trophy competition a medal format.
The winner was Pam Hyde with a score 86-17=69 net. retaining her title from last year, her handicap being reduced from 17 down to 15, in second position was Margaret Hardy 105-27=78 net.
The nine hole competition was won by Lynn Worthington with 18 stableford points and the runner up was Anita Pritchard with 17 stableford points.
Thursday the League match was played away at Torksey with Boston losing 3-1/2 to 1/2.
Friday a friendly match at home against Louth was held with Boston winning 3-1/2 to 1/2 this match was shortened to 12 holes because of inclement weather conditions.
Annual Pink Day
An array of pink attire was the norm plus extras for Wednesdays Annual Pink day a day set aside to raise money for The Breast Cancer unit at Pilgrim Hospital, the format of play, a reverse waltz with stableford points.
The winners were Jenny Geeson, Chris Sherriff and Jacquie Short with 67 stableford points.
The runners up with 65 points were Anne Wallhead, Yvonne Shaffarczyk and Kay Kadzionis.
The Nine hole competition was won by Jean Flynn, Gloria Tryner and Ruth Street coming in with 33 points. Money raised for the charity was £130.
The best dressed on the day was Yvonne Shaffarczyk and the 50/50 draw was won by Pam King with Maureen Molson second.
Friday the first leg of the League 4 South match against Woodhall B Ladies team was played at home with the visitors winning 2-1/2 to 1-1/2.
Wednesday 6th March saw the ladies turn out fo their first 18 hole competition of the year. The competition format was a Singles Par/Bogey competition with full handicap allowance.
Ruth Simpson (9 handicap) won the Skene Shield with a score of 3 down.
Runner up was Yvonne Schaffarczyk playing off 18 with 4 down.
Third position went to Hilary Calvert playing off 21 also 4 down.
Ladies Christmas Party
The tradition of the hamper raffle began in 2002 by the then Captain Barbara Unwin and as raised lots of money along the way for numerous good causes.
Hand made by some of Boston Golf Clubs lady members, eight fabulous Christmas Hampers.
A total of £323 was raised for the Ladies Section from the raffle of these.

Ted Eaglen Trophy
Lady Captain Pam Clare presenting the Ted Eaglen Trophy to Jenny Geeson.
7th November 14 ladies played in hope of winning the Ted Eaglen Trophy an 18 hole stableford competition.
The winner and taking home the trophy was Jenny Geeson with a score of 34 stableford points pushing Hilary Calvert into 2nd place on a countback also 34 points. 3rd place Yvonne Shaffarczyk with a score of 32 points.
Jacquie Short won the two's competition on the 5th hole.
